The HP 81101A 50 MHz programmable pulse generator is a highly accurate one-channel pulse generator. It provides
clean, accurate pulses with excellent repeatability, and timing changes are free of glitches and drop outs, even at the
maximum frequency of 50 MHz. The pulse generator also features fast, variable transition time and flexible amplitude and
duty cycle.
This pulse generator generates all of the standard pulses needed to test current logic technologies (CMOS, TTL, ECL, etc).
You can save test settings and program the HP 81101A for automated test routines. In addition, the HP 81101As
programs can be used on other pulse/pattern generators in the HP 81100 family.
The HP 81101A features a clear graphical display, autoset, help, store/recall. Preset TTL/ECL levels, selectable units (such
as current/voltage, width/duty-cycle), and load compensation. Values can be entered , exceeding the specified range, to
fully exploit the hardware limits. The User Interface includes warning messages, error messages, help key and non-volatile
memory for nine settings.
Level parameters can be entered as voltage or current, as high and low level, or as offset and amplitude. The output
provides continuous pulses, double pulses or bursts (single or double pulses.) One input (BNC connector at rear panel) is
used for clock input or alternatively for PLL.

8.9 cm High, Full Rack Width
The HP 81104A 80 MHz pulse/pattern generator generates all the standard pulses and digital patterns needed to test current
logic technologies (CMOS, TTL, LVDS, ECL etc.) With the optional second channel, multi-level and multi-timing signals up
to 60 MHz can be obtained using the internal channel addition feature. Pragmatically Channel 2 can be added to channel 1
internally. In this case the second output is disabled. The additional fixed delay on the second channel is typ. 2.5 ns.
The HP 81104A is highly accurate providing clean, accurate pulses, free of glitches and drop outs even at the maximum
frequency of 80 MHz.
The HP 81104A features a clear graphical display, autoset, help, store/recall. Preset TTL/ECL levels, selectable units (such

Easily see whatÕs happening in your mixed analog and digital designs!
The 33120A function/arb generator offers you the rock-solid stability of digital synthesis at a price even your accounting department will feel good about.
And not only do you get better performance, you get arbitrary waveforms available for the first time in this price range. Just imagine the ways you could use complex
custom waveforms (with 12-bit resolution), from simulating heartbeats and vibrations to testing circuits in ways never before possible at this price.
Sweep and modulation expand your test options without expanding your equipment list. Plus, you get full programmability using Standard Commands for
Programmable Instruments (SCPI) with standard HP-IB and RS-232.
The 33120A is another example of uncompromising T and M performance within your budget.
