この 1.27mm ピッチ SATA7P ケーブル コネクタは、1.27mm ピッチ SATA7P プラグコネクタと嵌合します。
このコネクタの外観検査は、EIA 364-18 により、実施します。
5.1 嵌合 : この 1.27mm ピッチ SATA7P ケーブル コネクタは、1.27mm ピッチ SATA7P プラグコネクタとの
嵌合において、特別な冶具を使用することなく、手動で行えます。

8. Test method-1
8.1 ローレベル接触抵抗
接触抵抗は、図 1に示すように SATA ケーブルコネクタを SATA プラグへ挿入した状態で、試験電流 100ｍA以下、
試験電圧 20ｍV以下の回路条件にて測定する。（EIA 364-23準拠）
尚、測定値には SATA コネクタと SATA ケーブルの結線部、及び、SATA ケーブル 100mm 以下の導体抵抗含む。
8.1 Low level contact resistance (LLCR)
Measuring under the following conditions : (EIA 364-23)
The measuring data is included the conductor resistance of joint area between SATA Cable connector and
SATA cable, SATA cable less than 100mm length.
Method of connection: See Fig 1.
The following details shall apply:
(a) Test current : 100 mA Max
(b) Open circuit voltage : 20 mV Max

8.2 絶縁抵抗
SATA ケーブルコネクタ単体、又は、SATA コネクタ単体を、未嵌合の状態にて、隣接するコンタクト相互間に DC
500V を1分間印加した後に、測定する。（EIA 364-21準拠）

SATA ケーブルコネクタ単体（未嵌合の状態）にて、図 2に示すように、SATA ケーブルに、40N の負荷を 1分間印
加する。（EIA 364-38 Condition A 準拠）
8.4 Cable pull-out
Measuring under the following conditions : (EIA 364-38 Condition A)
A test axial load 40N is subjected to the SATA cable for 1minute.
Cable pull-out direction: See Fig 2.
The following details shall apply:
(a) Test axial load : 40N for 1minute

8.5 ケーブル屈曲
SATA ケーブルコネクタを SATA プラグへ挿入した状態で、以下曲げ方向、屈曲回数にて測定する。
（EIA 364-41 Condition I 準拠）
(a) 曲げ方向：コネクタとケーブルのクランプ部近傍を左右方向へ各 90 度曲げる。
(b) 屈曲回数：100 サイクル（180 度の往復を１サイクルとする。）
8.5 Cable flexing
Measuring under the following conditions : (EIA 364-41 Condition I)
The measuring condition is mated SATA Cable connector to SATA plug.
The following details shall apply:
(a) Rotate direction : A transverse of 180 °in one direction plus 180 °in the opposite direction shall
call one cycle.
(b) Duration : 100 cycles.
8.6 挿入力
SATA ケーブルコネクタを SATA プラグへ挿入し、嵌合が完了するまでの最大荷重を測定する。
測定時の挿入スピードは 12.5mm / min とする。

8.11 高温高湿放置
SATA ケーブルコネクタと SATA プラグを嵌合し、高温高湿環境にさらした後、常温に 2±1時間放置し、
測定する。適用される試験条件は下記の通りとする。(EIA364-31 Method Ⅱ Test Condition A準拠)
(a) 周囲温度 : 40 ± 2℃
(b) 相対湿度 : 90～95% R.H.
(c) 試験時間 : 96時間
8.11 Humidity
Measuring under the following conditions : (EIA364-31 Method Ⅱ Test Conditi o n A)
The measuring condition is mated SATA Cable connector to SATA plug.
After left connectors for 2 +/-1 hours, there shall be measurement.
The following details shall apply:
(a) Ambient temperature : 40 ± 2℃
(b) Relative Humidity : 90～95% R.H.
(c) Test times : 96 hours
8.12 高温放置
SATA ケーブルコネクタと SATA プラグを嵌合し、高温環境にさらした後、常温に 2±1時間放置し、
測定する。適用される試験条件は下記の通りとする。(EIA364-17 Test Condition Ⅲ Method A 準拠)
(a) 周囲温度 : 85 ± 2℃
(b) 試験時間 : 500時間

サンプルの残りの半分は、試験期間中、SATA ケーブルコネクタと SATA プラグを嵌合状態において試験
環境にさらす。
その後、常温に 2±1時間放置し、測定する。適用される試験条件は下記の通りとする。
