I replaced two 512M memory cards in my laptop with two 1 G
cards. With the system preparation and installation instructions at
Crucial on line , I was enjoying the new 2 G RAM within fifteen
minutes. They are speedy and dependable!

I installed this memory into an old Fujitsu Lifebook S6231 that had
only 512MB . Windows XP was dog slow on this machine , and the
hard drive would thrash with every operation. The upgrade to 2 GB
works great , but I'm a little disappointed in the speed improvement.
It doesn 't thrash any more, but only a few things are significantly
faster. The rest is about the same. I'm not sure it was worth the
extra $45 to upgrade to 2GB instead of 1GB. At the very least, I
