MOUNTING I NSTRUCTION
The Rth j-amb of the TDA2822 can be reduced by sol-
dering the G ND pins to a suitab le copp er area of the
printed circuit board (Figure 15) or to an external
heatsink (Fig ur e 16).
The dia gr am of F igu re 17 shows t he m ax im um dis-
sipable power Ptot and the Rth j-am b as a function of
the side "" of two equal square copper areas having
a thick nes s of 35 µ (1.4 mils).
Duri ng s oldering t he pins tem pe rature m us t not ex -
ceed 260 °C and the soldering time must not be
longer t han 12 se c onds .
