This design is based on fiber Bragg grating
technology that provides narrow channel bands
with high isolation in the express channels.
Temperature compensation of the gratings
provides temperature sensitivity lower than
0.0005 nm/oC. The modules are designed to drop
single or multiple WDM channels from network
traffic and to pass other express channels. Many
different module configurations can be designed
to suit specific system requirements. Wavelength
channels over the ITU grid at channel spacings
down to 50 GHz can be combined into a single
package.
