EP9XX & EP18XX ORDERING CODE CHANGE
In December of 1995, Altera announced ordering code changes in its Classic EP6XX
component line. In keeping with this strategy, we are now consolidating selected EP9XX and
EP18XX ordering codes (Table 1 lists the ordering codes affected under this consolidation).
Please note that the substitute ordering codes are functional and pin-compatible replacements
for all affected ordering codes.
Altera will continue to accept orders for the current EP9XX ordering codes until September
30, 1996. Final shipments of the existing codes by Altera will occur on or before December
31, 1996. For the EP18XX product line, Altera will continue to accept orders for the current
ordering codes until March 31, 1997. Final shipments of the existing codes by Altera will
occur on or before June 30, 1997.
