ORDERING CODE CHANGE
In early August of 1995, Altera announced in ADV9506 that the ordering codes for the
EPM7192, EPM7160, and EPM7128 were substituting the EPM7192E, EPM7160E, and
EPM7128E respectively which are pin, function and programming file compatible. In
keeping with this strategy we are now consolidating ordering codes in the Classic family of
products.
Effective immediately, the substitute ordering codes in Table 1 should be used as direct
replacements for the existing Classic family ordering codes shown. Altera will continue to
accept orders for the existing ordering codes until January 31, 1996 -- all orders after January
31 should reference substitute ordering codes. Final shipments by Altera of the existing codes
will occur no later than April 30, 1996.
