The CAT811 and CAT812 have a manual reset. Featuring reduced power supply current, the CAT811/812 are direct replacements for the MAX811 and MAX812. to be asserted for at least 140ms after the supply voltage has risen above the threshold voltage. The CAT812 has an active HIGH reset. The CAT811/812 have push-pull outputs that do not require pull-up resistors. Fast transients on the power supply are ignored and the outputs are guaranteed to be in the correct state with the power supply voltage as low as 1V. A reset signal is asserted if the power supply voltage drops below a preset threshold level. Seven threshold levels are available to support 5V, 3.3V, 3.0V and 2.5V systems. The CAT811 has an active LOW reset output that is guranteed The CAT811/812 are fully specified over the operating temperature range and are available in a compact 4-pin SOT143 package. RESET is asserted if VCC falls below the reset threshold and remains low for at least 140ms after VCC rises above the reset threshold. -- 2 RESET Active HIGH reset. RESET is asserted if VCC falls below the reset threshold and remains low for at least 140ms after VCC rises above the reset threshold. 3 3 MR Manual Reset Input. A logic LOW on MR asserts RESET. RESET remains active as long as MR is LOW and for 140ms after MR returns HIGH. The active low input has an internal 20k pull-up resistor. The input should be left open if not used. It can be driven by TTL or CMOS logic or shorted to ground by a switch. 4 4 VCC Power supply voltage that is monitored. Doc. No. 3005, Rev.
