PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing
Thin Wall
Features:
Virgin Polytetrauoroethylene resin
2:1 Shrink Ratio
Chemically inert
Lowest coefcient of friction
Superior dielectric strength
Exceptional heat resistance
Self extinguishing
Non-wetting
Applications
Electrical Insulation
Protective Cover
Electronic Harness
Laboratory
Descriptions:
Is a single thin wall heat shrinkable PTFE tubing. Upon the application of heat in excess of 350°C the tubing shrinks and conforms
to the gemetry of the part to be covered. Stiffness, combined with chemical inertness, makes it an excellent strain relief for high
temperature electrical connections with contaminated environments
Specications:
Colour : Translucent to opaque white
Shrinkage Longitudinal : ±20%
Dielectric Strength : > 1,400V/MIL
Dielectric Constant : 2.2 @ 100 Hz to 60 MHz
Volume Resistivity : >10Ω18 CM Min.
Tensile Strengty : 2,000 PSI Min.
Specic Gravity : 2.13 to 2.2 g/cm2
Min. Shrink Temperature : 350°C (662°F)
Operating Temperature : -75°C (-100°F) to +260°C (+500°F)
Applicable Specication : AMS-DTL-23053/12A Class 3, AMS 3585, ASTM D2902, Type 1
Water Absorption : ≤ 0.01%
Flammability : Resin UL94V-0
Flexibility : 2 (Material is rated on scale of 1 to 10 for Flexibility 1 = Most Flexible and 10 = Most Rigid)
Excellent fungus, Oil, acid, and solvent resistance
