Aeroflex TriLink's high-speed optical switch is fabricated using Ti-indiffussion method based on Lithium Niobate
(LiNbO3) technology. These switches distinguish themselves from MEMs and bubble technology in that it features fast
reconfiguration time (in nanosecond).The LiNbO3switch is designed to allow systems designers to extend the backplane
switching capabilities of OC-192 multiplexers as well as 10 Gb/s ethernet switches.
