OPEN- BRIK Modules feature an electrically isolated baseplate that simplifies sys- tem packaging, installation and cool- ing. OPEN-BRIK Modules utilize hermetic disc semiconductors mount- ed in inverse parallel (AC switch) or doubler configurations. OPEN-BRIK Modules are especially advantageous in low duty cycle pulse applications since the large area elements (33 or 38 mm) provide high pulse currents relative to the modules continuous rat- ing. An optional ported base plate is available for water cooled application.
